Matthew Wolpert

Matthew Wolpert is a Partner of Diamond H Capital, a real estate investment and property management firm focused on manufactured housing communities in the US Midwest region.  Previously, Mr. Wolpert was a Managing Director at Almanac Neuberger Berman, served as the Head of Almanac’s real estate public securities investment platform, and was a member of Almanac’s Management Committee. Mr. Wolpert established and grew Almanac’s public investment platform since founding it in 2016 and served as the Portfolio Manager of three securities funds including public total return hedged, credit securities, and a late-stage private equity fund. Mr. Wolpert was responsible for all aspects of the funds, including investing, underwriting, risk management, marketing, reporting, operations, compliance and legal. Prior to joining Almanac in 2016, he was a Principal at V3 Capital Management, L.P., a hedge fund focused on value and event-driven investing in real estate securities across the capital structure. He was previously an Analyst at High Rise Capital Management, a $1.5 billion public real estate securities fund, and at two groups at Citigroup: Real Estate Investment Banking and Global Transaction Services. Mr. Wolpert received a BS degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis and is a CFA Charterholder.
